GETTING YOUR LICENCE
|
||
|
From September 10th 2009, the minimum age for learning to driver a C and C+E vehicle has been reduced from 21yrs to 18yrs. So if you are looking to learn to drive a lorry, but were not old enough, contact us now to commence your training. |

|
Before you can drive the articulated lorries, you will first need to pass your C (Class 2) test. Firstly you will need to fill in your provisional licence application
form. These forms are only available from Driving Centres, so you will
need to arrange an appointment to come to our training centre. The next stage is for you to complete your paperwork and organise your
medical. Your local Doctor should be able to complete this for you,
or alternatively, we have our own Doctor who completes our medicals
so please do not hesitate to ask about us arranging your medical for
you. Please be aware that there is a cost involved in obtaining your
medical. Once you have passed both tests, you will now be ready to complete your practical training. Training can be arranged at a pace to suit you, with weekend training available by arrangement. Once you are test ready, we will organise your practical test. Congratulations, you have now passed your "C" licence. Now you need to concentrate on your C+E licence. |
