ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION

Employers have an obligation to investigate incidents and accidents at work and a duty to revise risk assessments in the light of investigations.

The course will cover how to reduce the risk of expensive litigation and criminal proceedings and establish the importance of correct methods of investigation.
By the end of the course delegates should have a good understanding of the basic accident investigation process. Delegates will be able to take the initiative in finding out what went wrong, why, and how to make sure it does not happen again
