Don't forget that if your registered First Aider does not complete a refresher course within the 3year time frame, they can no longer perform the First Aid role and would have to sit the full 4day course again. Make sure your First Aiders are refreshed in time.

This HSE Approved 2 Day course refreshes and updates the First Aid skills of those who need to renew their First Aid at Work (Statutory) certificate and those whose certificate is still valid.

Those whose First Aid certificate has expired must attend the full four day course.

Those who wish to renew their certificate should attend this 2 day course which aims to update and refresh the student's knowledge in as many areas of the full First Aid syllabus as possible, whilst allowing time for revision and practice sessions in preparation for the final assessment.

New legislation for the FAAW Requalification course came into effect in October 2009. Delegates are now "strongly recommended" to attend an annual Skills Update course. Please click on our Skills Update page for more information.
